|Combining meditation, yoga and hard workouts has given me the balance to be stronger inside and out. All the movements improve our intellect, emotional being, and physical body. Therefore, I could not do one without the others. It took years to understand what I needed; however, once I found it, I realized I did not have to be stellar at all of them. I just had to work hard at all of them in order to improve myself. There is no "can't." There is only "not yet."
Peace of mind can come from a soothing meditation or a sweaty, grueling workout. We all find peace in different places; trying everything only helps us discover what we love and what works for us. I have found that for me in yoga, meditation, and kettlebells, along with working out with friends. Everyone should do what they love. Working out is taboo to some, but the job of the facilitator is to make it enjoyable and rewarding. I endeavor to be that facilitator by remembering that I will always be a student, and there is always room for more growth and learning.
